Preparing Skyfall for live-aboards and to sail  RTW

As mentioned before, SV Skyfall was well sorted and everything worked when we bought her. But this was for cruising in northern Europe, primarily using marinas for overnight stays. And she was only used for long weekends or 3-5 weeks cruise in the summer.
Now we wanted to use her as a home for long term live-aboards, going to much warmer climates, wanting to live 'off-grid' and sail round the world. This added new requirements.
